A Martyr’s Plea

We heard your prayers but they alone could not assist
We saw your tears but they only dampened your face
We lay here lifeless, human martyrs who cease to exist
We are victims of our murderers and of the Arab race

Why must we bathe in blood while you bathe in black gold
Why must we shiver in fear while you sleep and snore
We struggle building hope to live in peace and to grow old
While you build fake islands in seas and towers that soar

Oh Arab, wake up from your slumber and open your eyes
Hear the pleas of your Palestinian sisters and brothers
Help us, save us, relieve us, before the next martyr dies
Show us your supremacy the way you show the others

We hear your prayers but they alone will not assist
We see your tears but they only dampen your face
Stop praying, take action, and use your fist
Stop crying and weeping and end this disgrace
